This estate block was planted in '73. The wine includes 5.5% petit verdot, 3.5% malbec and 3% merlot, all hand-picked, up to 36 days on skins, matured for 18 months in French barriques (50% new). An utterly exceptional cabernet, as intense as it is elegant with great mouthfeel ex superfine tannins. It's the lightness and brightness that are the candles on the cake.
