Domaine Belair is planted with 13 hectares of Sauvignon Blanc on a variety of soils, calcaire at le Bouchot, marnes at St Andelain and sand in Pouilly. The winemaking is thoroughly modern and the resulting blend is consistent with typical rich aromas of nettles, gooseberry and minerals, followed on the palate by good weight of fruit and acidity with a flinty finish.
