Barossa Valley Shiraz yields were slightly higher than average, and all the wines show intense colour and flavour with robust tannins. Shiraz has delivered an exciting array of styles from vibrant flavoursome wines through to rich and complex styles with great texture and cellaring potential. Red-brown loam over shale and red clay vineyards in the South and Central Barossa Valley enable us to create wine parcels of generosity of flavour, length and texture. Dark berry fruits combine with a lively palate entwined with pepper spices and chocolate tones. A long savoury finish is coated in soft tannins to complete this rich and generous palate.
