Deep crimson with violet hues. Fragrant aromas of raspberry, plum and boysenberry are layered with notes of sage, black pepper, mace and cocoa, and floral nuances of vanilla flower. A rich and supple palate of dark plum, cherry and crushed blackberry flavours is well-balanced by vibrant acidity and fine, savoury tannins that lead to a long, peppery finish.

"The beautify of the season is captured wonderfully in this excellent blend of shiraz, grenache, mataro and a tony amount of viognier. Bright high energy red fruits with a spicy lift on the finish. Its more in the medium bodied zone but it certainly packs plenty of palate intensity delivered with a degree of finesse largely as a result of the subtle use of seasoned oak. This is a wine that has moved from its early iterations to one of more sophistication and poise."
